(...) On stage, it is the mushrooms that are most dancey. The seven artists – dancers and actors – skate, do knee highs and swing on pulleys, but discussing choreography would be pretentious. Mush-room is a theatre game with associations to Alfred Jarry as well as Brueghel, cabaret tradition, Salvador Dalí and absurdism in general. The scenographically visual dominates by virtue of artist Lot Lemm’s fantastical lampshady, phallis-like fungi. (...)
