The performative installation MALAM/NIGHT by Grace Tjang will be presented at Zomer van Antwerpen.

For this special occasion, Grace Tjang is expanding the installation by using plastic that she founds on the streets. Through these recycled elements, she creates a poetic garden that reflects on and questions the cycles of nature.

Double Minutes invites artists to explore the format and content of an artist lecture. The #17 edition presents Charlie Usher and Nicolas Peeters.

Nicolas Peeters and Charlie Usher are artists working at the intersection of music and visual art. Nicolas approaches life as an expansive montage—one that can be observed, listened to, and reconfigured through processes of selection, editing, and recombination. Charlie works with composed and found sound, heart-on-sleeve cultural samples, installations of rotary and handmade speakers and live instruments; in museum, gallery and concert hall contexts.
