At William Forsythe's request, Lauwers took up the challenge of creating a piece in which the two companies confronted each other. Two Needcompany actors and eleven Ballet Frankfurt dancers. For several weeks Jan Lauwers immersed himself and this group of exceptional performers in the exuberant world of the writer James Joyce. Lauwers wrote the script for the play together with Viviane De Muynck; about a memory, a farewell, an artist and a woman.
