In Vitro presents a unique performance by Korean computer musician, writer and improviser Ryu Hankil. As a central figure in Seoul’s underground, Hankil has long explored the possibility of generating another kind of music through non-musical objects. He’ll be joined by sound artist Florence Cats, another kind of world-builder, exploring the theremin as a socio-political instrument, assisted by these same “objects.”

Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei (°1994, Belgium/Iran) develops a practice that moves between installation, drawing, sculpture, sound, and video. The metaphor of liquidity plays a central role in her recent research. Her work has been presented in various art institutions in Belgium and abroad.
