The mysterious, vivid world that the darkness of night can evoke comes to life in *MALAM / NIGHT* with a keen sense of sensory quality. In this presentation—part of the *Zomer van Antwerpen* (Summer of Antwerp) festival—Grace Tjang (Grace Ellen Barkey), co-founder of Needcompany, has her daughter activate the installation. It is an audiovisual journey designed to indulge the imagination.

Associations with the natural world, ancient traditions, our relationship with animals and imaginary creatures, and the unfathomable nature of the night—all of these elements are present.
