The fellowship MILL'S BEAUTY REALITY SALON is back! MBRS is a fellowship developed by and within Needcompany out of a desire to continue the multidisciplinary artistic quest. With a worth of 10.000 euro's, Needcompany want to give artists the opportunity to think and create in a timeless and non-result-oriented way.

For MILL'S REALITY SALON we are inviting artists who have never before worked with Needcompany. The call has been launched and is open to all nationalities and ages with an extra focus on artists with a link to Brussels, the heart of transnational thinking.

Deadline = 7 September 2025, 23:35 CET.

Pornopera will be performed on the shortest night, as daylight fades and the eye releases, the ear takes over. The audience surrounds the performers. The concert becomes an act of listening and exposure. Of desire, discipline, surrender, held in the grip of the minor second.

On Sundayt 1 June, Lee Miller in Hitler's Bathtub will finally premiere at NEST, Neue Staatsoper in Vienna. After months of preparation and rehearsal, it is time to present the tragic cantata to the public.

The libretto 'Lee Miller in Hitlers Bathtub' is a portrait of a woman who at the end of her life said that she felt like a cow who had been milked dry. A woman in the shadow of many men. Famous men. Notorious men. Jan Lauwers wanted to make a portrait that was no longer that of Lee but of so many women in the history of art who have been gagged.
