23rd June sees the opening of the Grimbergen 2002 open-air exhibition of the work of nine leading artists. Jan Lauwers will for the occasion design a sculpture 50 metres long and 4 metres high. He describes this creation as the ‘crystallisation’ of all his previous work. A unique opportunity to visit Grimbergen. The other artists are: Atelier Van Lieshout, Jan de Cock, Thomas Schütte, Job Koelewijn, Peter Rogiers, Lili Dujourie, Ann Veronica Janssens and Christophe Terlinden.
