Each person is from a different nationality, speaks a different language, and naturally, has a different religious conviction. This situation creates a large tale with great characters who, as if they came straight out of a deep and extravagant dream, paint an accurate story of history, identity, immigration and the acceptance of others. While each story raises interesting questions in the mind of the spectator, the presence in the final scene of a Muslim Tunisian dancer evokes deep reflections on today's reality. As an incredible producer and a talented stage director, Lauwers likes to deconstruct scenic theater and does so by very authentic and provocative means, which leads the public to experience a personal and troubling work that cannot them leave feeling indifferent.
