Over the last 20 years Jan Lauwers has completed a variety of film and video projects, including short films From Alexandria (1988), Mangia (1995), Sampled Images (2000), C-Song (2003) and C-Song Variations (2007). During the summer of 2001 Lauwers shot his first feature film Goldfish Game (2002).

Nico Leunen made The Unauthorized Portrait (2003), a documentary / portrait of Jan Lauwers.

Hans Petter Dahl, Benoît Gob and Jan Lauwers together made the short film Rakvere (2004) after the last performance of Images of Affection. An ode to Andy Warhol.

In The OHNO Cooperation Conversations On The O.H.N.O.P.O.P.I.C.O.N.O. Ontology (2007), Maarten Seghers and Jan Lauwers hold a conversation about art and theatre. They live in an army tent and when necessary show themselves to ask questions through the media of theatre, music and art. Their motif is that nothing is certain and everything is different.
